Terms and Conditions of Rental
Our prices include:
Full-risk coverage with a franchise of 300 euros and always complying with current traffic regulations. In case of negligence by the tenant the coverage will not be at full risk.
300 km daily. In case of exceeding the limit, 0.2 euros per extra km is charged for Van and 0,1 euros per extra km is charged for cars.
VAT (currently 21%)
The driver must present a valid driving license and an identity card or passport upon delivery of the vehicle.
A driver's license issued in a language with a non-Latin alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) must be complemented by an international driver's license.
Pegasolina Star accepts major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, Diners, etc.
Upon delivery of the vehicle, payment must be made by CREDIT CARD. The credit card holder must be the same as the contract holder. If you wish to make the payment in cash, the customer must show a credit card. The credit card must be in the name of the person listed as the main driver of the rental agreement.
The rental made is not necessarily linked to a specific vehicle (make, model, etc.) but to a group of vehicles with similar technical and habitability characteristics.
Pegasolina Star reserves the right to cancel the delivery of the vehicle in case of doubts about the client's financial capacity or solvency or due to a history of non-payment or serious incidents with Pegasolina Star. Pegasolina Star may also refuse the rental if it is considered that the driver is in a state of drunkenness or affected by any other type of narcotic that may limit the driving of the vehicle.
The minimum age of the driver is 25 years, with a driving license with an age of more than 2 years.
In the Full-full mode, the vehicle is delivered with the fuel tank full and the customer must return it full. If the customer does not return the vehicle with the agreed fuel, there will be a refueling service charge of € 15 (VAT incl.), Plus missing fuel.
In the Full-empty mode, the vehicle is delivered with a full fuel tank and the customer must return it as empty as possible. There is no refund of the remaining fuel in the vehicle.
The rental days will count for periods of 24 hours from the exact time the client has rented the vehicle and until the reception of the vehicle, its keys and its documentation by Pegasolina Star. The courtesy period in the return of the Vehicle will be 59 minutes.
Pegasolina Star allows reservations with a maximum duration of 89 days. After this period, you cannot extend the contract or make a new contract.
Long-term contracts must be renewed, at most, every 30 days, so all conditions, extras ... must be hired again.
The customer has the obligation to return the vehicle on the date and time set out in the previous section. If the client wishes to extend the rental period he must go to the Pegasolina Star office to sign the extension. No contract can be extended by phone, or by any other means of electronic communication.
The price of the extension will be determined according to the rate in force at the time of confirmation of the extension.
If the vehicle receives a fine during the period of validity of the contract, the holder of the contract will be responsible for the amount of the fine.
The lessee is obliged to provide Pegasolina Star with the complete data of a credit card and authorizes the lessor so that when the concept referred to above is accrued, it will be charged to his card and the corresponding payment is paid.
If the vehicle is involved in an accident during the period of validity of the contract, a € 100 charge will be charged for Accident Processing Expenses.
Loss or damage of the key:
The charge to the holder of the contract will be the full amount of the key (min. € 200 VAT incl.), Plus any expenses incurred as a result.
Our vehicles are non-smoking vehicles. In case there are remains and smells of smoking inside the vehicle, a charge of € 50 VAT will be applied incl. in concept of cleaning and treatment of odors, in order to condition the vehicle for the next rental.
Cancellation and no show of on-demand vehicle reservations and after-hours reservations:
If a cancellation occurs within a period of less than 48 hours or the vehicle is not collected on the scheduled date and time, there will be no refund of the amount paid as a reservation.
Booking confirmation vouchers
The client must present the booking confirmation voucher when collecting the vehicle.
The vehicle is allowed to exit to the following countries: Germany, France, England, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Andorra and Monaco.
The departure of vehicles to countries other than those mentioned above is expressly prohibited.
To extend the insurance coverage, € 12.10 (VAT incl.) Per day will be paid to the collection of the vehicle. The minimum charge is € 36.30 VAT incl.
Deliveries and returns after hours:
Pegasolina Star offers an out-of-hours delivery and return service (from 08:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) at the Pegasolina Star service station.
In the event that the return of the vehicle is made between 22:00 to 06:00 (night time), € 15 is charged as management fees.
Rate for late return:
The return of the vehicle with more than 59 minutes of delay on the end time of rental of the contract will involve a charge of € 40 VAT incl. per day late.
Return of the anticipated vehicle:
The contract marks the duration of the rental, if it is returned before, nothing paid for the service is reimbursed.
In the event of an accident, the client must:
Obtain and send within a maximum period of forty-eight hours after the incident, complete data of the opposing party, witnesses if any, by filling in an accident report located in the vehicle's glove compartment with the vehicle documentation, detailing the registration, the name and address of the opposing party, the circumstances of the collision, a sketch of the accident, the name of the insurer and the insurance policy number, all signed by both drivers involved in the accident.
Notify the relevant authorities immediately.
Do not leave the rented vehicle, without taking adequate measures to protect it.
In case of fire, vandalism, theft of the vehicle, the customer undertakes to bring the corresponding complaint to the relevant authorities, providing a copy to Pegasolina within a maximum period of twenty-four hours.
